Holiday Gifts for Tennis Fans (2023)

Holiday Gifts for Tennis Fans (2023)

If you’re wondering what to get for the cool, cultured tennis fan in your life this holiday season, we’ve got a few ideas. Besides our automatic recommendation to purchase the new Tennis In Photographs “Coco Gauff: 2023 US Open” edition (or a bundle with last year’s “2022” edition!), we’ve curated a varied gift guide of home goods, accessories, clothing, and more to gift tennis lovers this year.

ICONIC Rafael Nadal by Corinne Dubreuil ($62)

Published by Amphora, this book includes 160 beautiful photographs of Rafa Nadal by Corinne Dubreuil. Dubreuil’s images of Serena Williams and Coco Gauff are in our first two issues, and we love her work! One can purchase the book from the shop of Rafael Nadal by Hippo, linked above.

Signed Coco Gauff 2023 US Open Tennis Ball ($499)

We procured this signed Coco Gauff 2023 US Open tennis ball to memorialize Coco winning her first Grand Slam at just 19 years old. It comes with a copy of the “Coco Gauff: 2023 US Open” issue, three art postcards, a claimable NFT, and a tamper-proof hologram and authenticity certificate.

Tume Tennis Club Play Louder T-shirt ($32)

The coolest tennis club in Los Angeles (and beyond!), Tume Tennis Club, recently released official T-shirts from their Team Singles 3v3 All-Star game. As they say, "‘Quiet, please’ is a thing of the past. We say…’Play louder.’” We agree. It’s time for the sport to turn up the volume in more ways than one!

Rashelle Green Tennis Ball Rug ($211)

Made by multidisciplinary creative Rashelle Campbell, this wool tennis ball rug was hand-tufted in New Zealand. There’s also a version with other sports balls, and both have anti-slip felt panels at the back.

The Ace Club Après-Tennis Green Half-Zip ($200)

Parisian purveyor of après-tennis apparel, The Ace Club, makes classic-meets-contemporary tracksuits, polos, T-shirts, hoodies, and collaborations with the likes of Ed Banger and the Swiss Open. We like their green half-zip, which you could pair with their green joggers.

Joia Open Short 2 Amarillo ($33)

Chilean brand Joia’s sub-line, Joia Open, has quite possibly the edgiest tennis gear and magazines. Their 3D Andre Agassi artworks are our favorite. These digital graphic shorts are one of the only pieces left in their latest collection, which you might have to travel to Chile to get…!

Black Girls Tennis Club Donation (Up To You)

U.S.-based Black Girls Tennis Club in Virginia has a fundraising goal of $650K to support 200+ more members, renovate local courts, train more coaches, create an app, and more. They provide clinics for girls ages 8-18 and free hours of tennis instruction. Donating to their amazing cause is easy through PayPal.

Antoine Couvercelle Print of Coco Gauff (Inquire Within)

Following the many photos by esteemed tennis photographer Antoine Couvercelle in our “Coco Gauff: 2023 US Open” issue, we recommend purchasing a print from him! His photos of Roger Federer and Rafa Nadal are iconic, as are his photos of pro players like Coco Gauff, including from her memorable Wimbledon run at age 15. This photo is a true piece of history.

Dotdotennis Andrey Rublev & Daniil Medvedev Keychains ($8)

Another Tennis In Photographs collaborator, Dotdotennis (who illustrated a Coco postcard to celebrate the new issue!), makes incredible products on her Etsy and Redbubble stores. This acrylic keychain of pros Andrey Rublev and Daniil Medvedev is a great gift for fans of them and their friendship.

The Courts US Open ‘23 Print ($60)

Beyond their colorful desert tennis club in Anza-Borrego, California, The Courts continues to make awesome, artful merchandise. This print depicting Arthur Ashe Stadium and the 2023 US Open is another must-have, and like many of their drops, it will probably sell out soon.

Arthur Ashe Icon Sweatbands ($7)

Launched just over a year ago, the Arthur Ashe brand has classy, fun staples that pay tribute to the late African-American tennis player and activist and his style. These terrycloth sweatbands, with the Arthur Ashe icon logo, are a great addition to almost any tennis outfit.

Crafting Victory at Tiffany & Co. Book ($175)

For 37 years, Tiffany & Co. has crafted the iconic US Open trophies. In their new book published by Assouline, the company details over 160 years of their trophy craftsmanship across multiple athletic disciplines, with a foreword by LeBron James!

Palmes Apples Zip Tote Bag ($115)

Palmes may be known more for their apparel, but they make great accessories, too. This tote has a YKK zipper (!!!) and could be used for tennis or groceries. The apple graphic is accompanied by the text, “A place where trees talk and people listen,” and also comes in a T-shirt version.

Tennis Grip Dampeners ($8)

Keeping with the apple theme, New York City-based brand Tennis Grip makes these “causing a racquet” dampeners that come in a set of two with an embroidered pouch.

Lacoste x Eleven By Venus Oversized Varsity Jacket ($795)

The new Lacoste x Eleven By Venus [Williams] collection is so strong! We love the quality and shape of Lacoste’s varsity jackets, and this fleece unisex one checks all the style boxes. For a more affordable option that reps Venus even more, check out their “Venus did it first” sweatshirt.

Casablanca The Court White & Green Sneaker ($404)

French-Moroccan brand Casablanca released their new The Court leather sneakers less than a month ago, ushering in another style of their own footwear (outside of collaborations). Referencing ‘90s silhouettes and classic tennis colors, the shoe has vibrant outsoles and gold lace tips.

Amina Muaddi Multicolor Tennis Necklace ($371)

Who needs a tennis bracelet when you can have a tennis necklace or anklet? Most know Amina Muaddi for her heels, but these glass crystal pieces are easier to shine with and wear on the court.

Chew-Chew Tennis Earrings ($20)

The art director of our new issue, Chris Chew, has a design studio with his sister called Chew-Chew, and they recently dropped these tennis earrings. For something to wear on-court, check out their “no sweat” wristbands.

LVBL Party Platter ($30)

Imagine serving up your next cheese plate with this tennis court-themed board?! In addition to having cool T-shirts, hats, and totes, L.A.-based LVBL has blessed us with this amazing cutting board (and lots of great events in the L.A. area!).

Naomi Osaka x Nike Apex Bucket Hat ($36)

We bought last year’s Naomi Osaka x Nike bucket hat, and it was a staple all winter long. This fuzzier version is reversible and comes in a chocolate brown like the rest of her new lifestyle collection with Nike.

In/Out Court Basics Hoodie Yellow ($237)

Made-to-order tennis lifestyle brand In/Out is giving you the option to blend in with the tennis balls. Their latest drop is all about the smiley face :)

All items are priced in USD, don't include shipping, and are subject to availability. This post is unsponsored.
